Performance Comparison

This is where the philosophies diverge. The M4 Max is a sustained-performance monster: it holds its clock speeds quietly under long renders, video exports, and compile jobs, and it does it all unplugged with no throttling. For creative pro workloads — Final Cut, Logic, large Xcode builds — it’s as fast as a desktop.

The Razer Blade 16 wins raw peak GPU compute. Its discrete NVIDIA GPU delivers frame rates and CUDA acceleration the MacBook simply can’t match. If you’re rendering with CUDA, training models on GPU, or — above all — playing AAA games, the Blade pulls decisively ahead. The trade-off is heat and noise: under sustained load the fans spin up hard, and the chassis gets hot.

Battery & Portability

Not close. The MacBook delivers 18–22 hours of real-world battery and runs at full speed unplugged.
